Ecological sanitation (Ecosan) is becoming more and more known in India and several projects have raised awareness and acceptance of innovative sanitation systems. Successful projects and their large-scale implementations have created a market in the commercial, cooperative and the public sector in India. However, there is still a significant dearth of qualified personnel and experts who can achieve the implementation in practice. Furthermore, in a developing country like India, many government schools still lack good sanitation and hygiene practices. ESF addresses these issues by providing several trainings in WASH sector.These trainings cater to a wide range of audience: professionals, entrepreneurs, urban local bodies, educational institutes.
